Lester Holt is exactly right. Journalists need not cover “both sides” of issues when one side is demonstrably false. If someone says the sun sets in the west, you don’t need an alternative voice to say it doesn’t. “Our duty is to be fair to the truth.”

I do not believe these are days for mincing words. I’m 63 1/2 years old & I have never seen anything in these United States of America I found more astonishingly seductive & dangerous to the saints of God than Trumpism. This Christian nationalism is not of God. Move back from it.

UNCW announces they will allow students to finish their classes this semester as pass/fail rather than graded if they choose. I'll grade everyone like normal. Students can see their final grade and chose to accept that, or accept a pass which will not impact their GPA in any way.
