What you can do is ensure wrongs are repaired by inviting Poles to join Commonwealth forces every Remembrance Sunday. We are unlikely to yield to #putin pressure.

The British Labour government, under pressure from Stalin, did not invite the Polish Armed Forces to the Victory Parade in London which took place #OTD in 1946. Polish soldiers were one of the largest national formations (the 4th allied army) fighting against Germany under the British High Command, with more than 200,000 members of the Polish Armed Forces. None of them marched in the Parade. So much for gratitude. Polish veterans took part in a Victory Parade for the first time 60 years after the war had ended.
