A brilliant, honest space created last week with the EDI Charter for Rail at their 5th anniversary event. Truly refreshing to be in a room where everyone was encouraged to be listened to, supported and able to contribute in the breadth of topics throughout the day.

Finally, the logistics industry will continue to optimise its efficiency and reliability with the help of AI this year. Digitally connected networks, schedule optimisation and pro-active decision making are all components AI will master to form agile systems 👐

This year we’ll also start to see more alternative systems, battery electric and hydrogen powered trains as examples, make a bigger impact. As these technologies roll out, diesel locomotives will be phased out more than ever. Sustainability is longevity! 🥬
