@iainronsaunders @GrumpyGit1960 @Michael17721332 @GNRailUK @DanielZeichner @TransportFocus The obvious fix is if the system detects a high number of claims, it automatically refers the claim to customer services, instead of rejecting and telling the passenger to contact customer services themselves. This allows the same checks but with less annoyance to the passenger.

The @GNRailUK service has been awful the last month. I have claimed ‘Delay Repay’ for all the issues faced . They have started automatically rejecting my claims when they know how bad their service has been. Disgusting. @DanielZeichner @TransportFocus

I’m carrying out the horrible task of ringing Dad’s utility and service providers to inform them of his death. Bereavement teams at his banks- all so lovely. Same with @SkyUK and @VodafoneUK, so compassionate and backdated termination of service to the date of his death. @virginmedia, however, totally different story. Will NOT BACKDATE termination of contract, only to today. It was only 2.5 weeks ago, but it’s the principle. Why is this jarring policy in place, @virginmedia, and differs so much from your competitors? Has left a really poor impression of your company at an incredibly difficult time.

Since then safeguards were put in the system and because of the exceptional number of claims on some lines, it is more of a manual process so as to combat fraud.

@HighSpeed_H As you may be aware, the Aurora units are lacking reliability out of the box, no one cares about the 222s which are being replaced and possibly not repaired asap, and they are short of sets. It's a shambles, as other say, try via Tamworth with 10-car Class 730s. Loads of seats

Every time I travel with EMR out of St Pancras, I swear never again, and yet here I am again. 10 car, reduced to 5, but 2 of those inhabitable due to faulty air con. The TM saying the trains are not fit for purpose says it all.
