Siren has none of the character development any pilgrim has had, despite being featured in 2 anniversary events. We had stronger pilgrims even before the 1st anni as far as characters go. She is "whooo im so nice, look at me." with no flaws, and no growth. Every single character in this game typically has a flaw. She does now. Mori was more of a character than Siren was in her own event. Yuni and Mihara also had the spotlight. Siren just existed. Siren could disappear, and nothing would change. You cannot say that about any of the main cast. They all are pretty important or have presence. Anis has finally had her story revealed, and has been part of the counters since day 1 offering her more nihilistic take on the ark, which helped offer a different look before we got the later stories that peeled back the veil of the city. We got a pretty good side story, with some writing issues, and are getting a whole event that reveals quite a large portion of the Arks history and lore, which is directly tied to Anis. It's quite nice. Nikke has good stories, but i don't glaze the game brother. It's far from perfect, and Anis' story isnt perfect whatsoever. 2025 just was a year of disappointing main events with some decent ones sprinkled in. That was the most I have EVER seen the fandom divided on the game.

Absolute story was weak, sure, but at least the characters are interesting and its an event story, not a main story. Anis has been center stage doing nothing for what feels like ages and it built up to nothing.

Its fucking not. 2.5 anni was garbage. Siren is boring as fuck, the cg's sucked, the MSQ drug on way too long stalling, summer event was fucking stupid rehash of doro with plot holes and virgin commander... Absolute was absolutely trash in both story and their kits. Get the fuck out of here.
