Adv. Batohi got permission to get lawyers paid for by the state.
If she doesn't come back, that would be wasteful expenditure, much like the salary she earned during her tenure.

Deputy President Thabo Mbeki briefing the media ahead of the diplomatic negotiations with Zairian (DRC) President Mobutu Sese Seko, attempting to secure a peaceful transition of power during the First Congo War. Deputy President Mbeki acted on behalf of President Nelson Mandela to broker talks between Mobutu and rebel leader Laurent-Désiré Kabila, whose forces were rapidly advancing on Kinshasa.
The negotiations facilitated by Deputy President Mbeki and President Mandela were largely aimed at an orderly exit for Mobutu but failed to produce a lasting political transition before the capital fell. Mobutu struggled to maintain power, ultimately fleeing Zaire (which was renamed the Democratic Republic of Congo) in mid-May 1997 as Kabila’s forces took control.

[BREAKING NEWS]
Julius Malema Warned Committee About Trent’s Breakdown‼️‼️‼️
Sarah-Jane Trent, the former assistant to Paul O’Sullivan, is seeking to have her testimony before the Ad Hoc Committee declared invalid, alleging that she was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder at the time of her appearance.
During the proceedings, Timpakgolo @Julius_S_Malema had cautioned the committee about her visible breakdowns, raising concern that her mental state was not adequately assessed.
He argued that it was improper for the committee to proceed under such conditions, and criticised its failure to take necessary steps to evaluate her fitness to testify. The committee refused to listen to Superior Logic.
