When my daughter was in kindergarten, her school called me and said I needed to come immediately because of a serious behavioral issue. I rushed there thinking she had done something terrible. When I arrived, I found out her crime was that she had been holding hands with her best friend, a boy, during recess. The school considered it inappropriate and wanted me to take her home. Completely confused, I asked if they had kissed or done anything else. "No," they said. I turned to my daughter and asked why she was holding his hand. She shrugged and replied, "Because he's my friend, and he's one of the good boys." I honestly didn't know whether to laugh or be annoyed that I left work for that.

Can somebody please explain why so many UK houses don’t have proper bedroom door locks? Because when I first moved here, I genuinely thought I was missing something. Back home, bedroom doors usually came with some level of privacy. 😂 You can’t just barge into my parents room. But here? You close the door and that’s apparently supposed to be enough 😭😂 Enough for who? 😂 The funniest part is when you have children. Children don’t knock. Children don’t wait.
