When my daughter was in kindergarten, her school called me and said I needed to come immediately because of a serious behavioral issue. I rushed there thinking she had done something terrible. When I arrived, I found out her crime was that she had been holding hands with her best friend, a boy, during recess. The school considered it inappropriate and wanted me to take her home. Completely confused, I asked if they had kissed or done anything else. "No," they said. I turned to my daughter and asked why she was holding his hand. She shrugged and replied, "Because he's my friend, and he's one of the good boys." I honestly didn't know whether to laugh or be annoyed that I left work for that.

I have a female friend. She had a boyfriend. She came from a wealthy family but kept it a secret. Her boyfriend wasn't rich, but he was doing okay. He owned an electronics business. She loved him, never pressured him for money. They had been dating for over four months. Then one day, she visited him uninvited. She heard sounds from the living room. He was with another lady. Having sex. What broke her heart wasn't just the cheating. It was the things he said during the sex. The praises he never gave her. She called me, heartbroken. I consoled her. I told her to talk to him and not to do anything stupid. She agreed. She never told him anything. Acted like everything was fine. To cut the story short? She ruined his life. He wanted to import some goods. Somehow, she planned and duped him of his importation funds. He has been struggling with that business ever since. And ever since then, he has never set his eyes on her again. She blocked him everywhere. He doesn't know who was behind it. Or why she disappeared. She told me everything. I was totally not in support. I asked her to return his money. She refused. I just had to let her be. Since that day? I de fear women. 🤣🤣

You don't miss her, bro. You miss the future you had imagined with her. There's a difference.

LOVE IS… Love is not the flowers that bloom for a day, Nor the sweet words people casually say. It is the hand that stays through the storm, The heart that keeps another warm. Love is patience when tempers rise, Truth reflected in honest eyes. It is choosing one soul again and again, Through seasons of joy and seasons of pain. Love is not perfect; it stumbles and bends, Yet it fights for healing, it mends and defends. It whispers hope when the night feels long, And turns silent struggles into a song. Love is a promise, gentle and deep, A treasure too precious for time to keep. For when two hearts learn to beat as one, Love becomes forever—never undone. ❤️

I attended a friend's wedding years ago and witnessed the biggest wedding drama of my life. Before the ceremony started, I noticed her daughter, who was in her twenties, sitting alone at the back of the church. She looked completely different from her usual self—unkempt hair, oversized clothes, and a gloomy expression. Everything was going well until the exchange of vows. Suddenly, she stood up, started hissing loudly, and shouted that she objected to the marriage. Then she marched toward the altar. Some church women tried to stop her, but she resisted. Meanwhile, the bride and groom continued with the wedding as if nothing was happening. The daughter kept making comments throughout the rest of the ceremony. It felt like a scene from a Nollywood movie.

That uncle's thinking is deeply disturbing. It's one thing to be desperate to save a business, but it's another thing entirely to start wishing harm on innocent people for profit. Jonah was right to shut that conversation down immediately. Some lines should never be crossed, no matter how difficult life gets.

Can somebody please explain why so many UK houses don’t have proper bedroom door locks? Because when I first moved here, I genuinely thought I was missing something. Back home, bedroom doors usually came with some level of privacy. 😂 You can’t just barge into my parents room. But here? You close the door and that’s apparently supposed to be enough 😭😂 Enough for who? 😂 The funniest part is when you have children. Children don’t knock. Children don’t wait. Children don’t respect “private meeting in progress” 😭😂 They just burst into the room like police executing a warrant. One minute you’re enjoying quality couple time. The next minute: “Daddy” “Mummy”, “can I have water?” “Come here” 😭😂 At this point, some parents don’t need locks. They need security personnel 😂 Honestly, one thing parenting teaches quickly is this: The moment children hear silence in the house, they become suspicious 😭😂 Question is… Am I the only one who thinks bedroom locks should be standard equipment in family homes? ©The Stanleys
