@eternallyRaq Idpol allows no critical thinking of why Hillary and Kamala lost and reduces recent success to looks (Mamdani win because he's hot), attitude (Platner is ahead because of rugged masculinity), and presence (Talarico has a deep voice), not because these guys all take left stances.

I can understand this thinking but if AOC runs and does win the nomination I do believe she’s winning the general. But also, the last two female candidates we ran did have terrible campaign strategies. AOC is already showing that she won’t make the same mistakes.

Pure anecdote, but when I was at the Fight Oligarchy rallies + talking to attendees, heard a few women rule out AOC bc they can't watch a female nominee lose again.

@TwoThousand_17 @_rathbone China doesn't need to. They can just fortify Iran from behind the scenes as Iran now requires the Yuan to be used to buy 40% of the global oil supply. I imagine the rest of the Gulf states will realize that the US can be an unreliable friend and they'll dump the dollar too.
