A source says "Senator Cotton has the same concerns he’s had for years about this proposal, but he is far from alone. Senators Thune, Wicker, Fischer, Moran, Sullivan, Budd, Sheehy, Klobuchar, Peters, Duckworth, Rosen, and Blunt-Rochester all voted against making daylight savings time permanent in the Senate Commerce Committee. This isn’t really a partisan issue, it’s a geographic issue"

BANNON: What happens Thursday night has to be looked at as a predicate for immediate action.
That immediate action would manifest itself in a national security emergency EO.
An EO that takes all of the SAVE America Act, puts it into an EO, and then the president signs it.
And guess what?
It’s then executed to make sure that we have free and fair elections, with no foreign interference and no intelligence services or deep state running the deal.
End of story.

The electorate in this race is now 601 convention delegates, elected by registered Democrats (primary was open to indies too) who chose to show up to county caucuses this weekend. The process self-selects for the most committed, involved, high-information Dems. That creates political incentives for candidates that might be quite different from a traditional primary, where you're simultaneously doing persuasion and mobilization, trying to reach low-information and/or independent voters, each of whom often have heterodox political views.
