2024 was great for me * Spent loads of time with my family * Found out we’re expecting twins * Wife is really enjoying her career * Built out Wildcat V2 with a team I love * Experienced the VC raise machine * Graduated law school with a first * Was talked out of running to be an MP * Been banned from doing an econ degree * Travelled to US, Belgium, UAE, Thailand, Madeira and Czechia for work * Italy for my daughters first birthday * Trapped in four airports due to weather * West Ham still an irreverent part of CT * It hyperstitioned an angel collective I am far from a wealthy man, but globally I have to be one of the luckiest to have ever lived - writing it out like this hammers home that I couldn’t even have dreamed of any of this five years ago This is primarily because of the people I met here: my sincere thanks to everyone who I’ve interacted with this year There is no joke, I love you Happy New Year, all :)

Oil isn’t hot, shallots are sliced not diced, there’s a piece of shallot skin in there, and the chili flakes will burn followed by the garlic before the shallots even soften because everything was thrown in at once. Shameful.
