Fair play from her, i mean 20 bucks a month is atrocious. But isnt their solution for this to add ads or something on the lower tiers of game pass?
Imagine youre playing a souls game and then u suddenly get hit by an ad mid session, no pause button on you… that wouldnt go well

No. And some of them do it because of YT, which means that the money they spent on the game, they gain back

The Stop Killing Games movement has officially backed the proposed California bill focused on protecting players when online games are shut down.
> Publishers must provide an offline mode or a way to keep the game playable after server shutdown.
> If this is not possible, players should receive a full refund.
> The goal is to protect digital ownership and game preservation.
This proposal follows growing concerns over games becoming completely inaccessible once support ends, especially after shutdowns like The Crew.
Most gamers think that if players pay for a game, it should remain playable or be fairly compensated.

Its the same for FIFA and other games, but when EA tried doing it for other games like battlefield, NFS and battlefront, they got flamed for it and they immediately reverted the system. Plus they’re gacha games and on top of that are free to play. Im pretty sure these rules only go for console games, so square would still dodge this

@Pirat_Nation This is not really a good thing, because it is just going to make devs far more predatory. They will sell the game for $1 and then charge you $60 for each character. That way when they shut it down, they only need to pay you $1 back. No way they will spend a ton adding offline
