@Chronos_LS ✨Yeah that would be interesting and I like the direction, but if we think about what led Sora to become the savior is b/c of Xehanort. And one of the main reasons he became the dark seeker is because he hoped to become the child of destiny, followed by using Ven, the “CoD”

My take on this is a bit different. I'm actually wondering if the term "child of destiny" refers to something similar to the Order of a world. Dark Road focuses a lot on the keys to the order of worlds and presents them somewhat like the centers of gravity for a story. For example, in Agrabah, it's the lamp. No lamp, no story. Same goes for the rose in the Beast's Castle, the entire story stems from that object. No rose, no story. Basically, I see children of destiny working on the same principle, but on a larger scale: centers of gravity for multiple stories. They don't follow a narrative; they are the ones writing it.

@Chronos_LS ✨yes! I think the term of a child of destiny is just manipulation. The master knew Darkess was reading the BoP, which is where he found out Ven was the CoD. The master just used that term to get darkness to hide inside Ven

One of the 13 Darknesses had also revealed that Ventus was a child of destiny in KHUx (this is information that was lost in the English translation). The Darknesses are convinced, according to the Book of Prophecies, that Ventus is the child of destiny, the vessel of darkness. I think there are multiple children of destiny, or perhaps multiple interpretations of what that means, such as being capable of saving the world or destroying it (from Xehanort's point of view, it was both at the same time).
