Of all the #Vikings draft picks I really like S Jakobe Thomas. Only 1 yr at Miami but a very impactful 1 yr. He plays downhill, can blitz off the edge, willing to make the big hit on tackles, take on blockers in the screen game & disguises coverage well. Feels like a Flores guy.

Oh to have been in that war room. Vikes hosted WR Ted Hurst for top-30 visit. WR coach Keenan McCardell attended his GSU pro day. Vikings have gaping WR3 hole. Stribling/Bernard, also McCardell PD visits, were gone. Im picturing Flores standing on his head for Big Citrus 🍊

@KSG_SKOL People saying he can tackle dont realize he missed 18 tackles last year which was the most on the team. Hard hitter doesn't mean great tackler.

@JJDEMARAY If you like him a lot you don't get cute and risk it. Like his tape but foot injury on a guy that big is scary. Word has it Bears really liked him and wanted him at 25. High risk high reward guy.

Many Minnesota Vikings fans have responded to my posts regarding Caleb Banks. Personally, I really like Banks as a prospect and love them picking him. The problem for me was where we drafted him. Most including myself feel we could have traded down and still selected him.

@JJMcGLAZER Fans care a lot and can be critical of decisions especially when they consider it the wrong. I actually like the talent of Banks but you would be crazy to not be concerned about a broken foot on a 327 lb defensive tackle. This is a very risky pick. Hope it pays off but skeptical

I think the majority of people mad about the Vikings draft pick are the “experts” who sat and did mock drafts in their basement for 6 months who can’t handle the guy we picked wasn’t on anyone’s radar pre-draft. Dudes 6’6 330 if he lives up 2 his potential we have a game wrecker

@strallweat Floyd career was actually ended due to a botched surgical error. I see the upside of the pick but can't help but be concerned about a 327 lb dt coming off a broken foot.

The last Florida DT we took turned out ok.
