The House just approved Trump's $70B for ICE and Border Patrol — I voted NO. Americans overwhelmingly oppose this extreme immigration agenda. We cannot pretend this is business as usual.

Extreme weather doesn't choose sides — it hits everyone, including the PA farmers who feed us. After May’s severe cold, we worked with this administration to secure recovery loans to help our farmers rebuild.

82 years ago, Allies forces stormed the beaches of Normandy. Let us all pause for a moment and imagine the bravery, fear, and love of country that carried these young men through D-Day. Because of these heroes, the course of World War II changed — and freedom prevailed over tyranny. May we always honor their legacy.

Yesterday I met Adam. He loves space and is one hilarious kid. Thanks to a gene‑therapy trial, he’s thriving and chasing big dreams – likely in comedy! I am grateful to CHOP and Adam's family for sharing his inspiring story and highlighting the need to invest in our kids.

Last week, Berks County lost a dedicated public servant — Officer Kristen Yeager. My prayers are with Kristen’s husband and three children, the Central Berks Regional Police Department, and the Pikeville community as they grieve this sudden and unimaginable loss. Officer Yeager leaves a legacy of service and devotion to her community. May her memory be a blessing.

Always wonderful to welcome students from Berks to D.C.   Kutztown Area High School's AP government students asked thoughtful, impressive questions about how our government works.   Their curiosity and passion bring me hope for our next generation of leaders.

Our hearing with Acting AG Todd Blanche should concern us all.   He is not working for survivors of Epstein or the American people.    He is working for one man — Donald Trump.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our town hall at Ursinus College!  We are at our best when we are engaged in our communities — last week was a meaningful example of that.  Thank you for using your voice! 🇺🇸

Farmers feed our communities, and when extreme weather hits, they deserve our support. We called on Secretary Rollins for federal aid, and our farmers secured the recovery loans they need. When our local farms thrive, we all do.

On Memorial Day, I return to the Gettysburg Address, where President Lincoln so powerfully spoke of our inability to articulate the immense sacrifice of our fallen troops:   "We can not dedicate. We can not consecrate. We can not hallow this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract."   Though we cannot convey the debt of gratitude and depth of loss, we must still try.   On this solemn day, we honor the courageous service members — patriots — who gave the "last full measure of devotion" for our freedom.

It's all about the grift with this administration.   While a war rages on and everyday prices for Americans skyrocket, this President is looking out for one person — himself.
