In the decades-long effort to lower prescription drug costs, today’s announcement from CMS is monumental. The ability for Medicare to negotiate prices will provide relief for people who depend on costly medications, and I'm thrilled to see it implemented.

History really is our greatest teacher. I am heartened to see the Inflation Reduction Act advancing forward, paving the way for a greener future. It has taken years of work from many different groups to see this through and it is certainly worth celebrating.
