@Techpack_64 @GGalactigal Not really When u quantify their feats Sonic has higher dimensionality scailing than Mario Along with him having the speed advantage as he could just speedblitz Mario & just dodge every one of his attacks as Mario dont have the speed feats to keep up

@GGalactigal @Melodic_Lemons3 In truth, I personally think it’s an “either or” situation because both characters have some actually wacky abilities in their kit, and any change to what they can or can’t use changes the outcome by a lot. Which is why I think it’s such a hard fight to pin down

@GGalactigal I dont see anything stopping Sonic from speedblitzing Mario honestly Nobody has proven Mario even scales dimensionally higher than Sonic

@Melodic_Lemons3 some ppl got in their feelings over this but ultimately it was a fun time. it wrapping up with brycecarrington and kornart respectfully riffing off each other was the most fitting way it could end (mario wins btw but it’s an incredibly close fight)

@AJKH311m0nk3y Wht states Silvers attack isn't FTL? Also tht isnt even recent Sonic? Also tht would just be an upscale to Eggmans tech as he was prepared? Sonic has immeasurable speed Something Mario has never shown to react to Sonic is untouchable when I comes to Mario

@Retr0KH Problem is, when I looked that up, most of the FTL feats weren't about reaction speed. Plus sonic has been hit by things slower than FTL, like Silver's attack in sonic 06 or eggman's trap in unleashed. Just because a character has FTL speeds, doesn't mean they're untouchable.

@Retr0KH Technically Mario has reacted to lightning. Granted it is from Paper Mario and Paper Mario: the thousand year door and it technically is more of a gameplay element but it still counts. I'm not saying that Mario beats sonic in speed, just that they are within the same ballpark.

Sonaze is one of those ships that I really wish I could like more. There’s a lot of stuff about them that’s really cool, but it doesn’t really click with me like with other ships. I guess I’m more of a Silvaze guy lol. But shout out to all of my Sonaze mutuals! Y’all are awesome!

@Retr0KH @Guv_TheRNGChad To be fair, it technically is more in Sonic's favor, do to Sonic's better overall speed, however reaction speed is different from movement and combat speed, sonic in canon definitely has better movement and combat speed, but both are equal in reaction speed.

@Retr0KH i only feel that its 50/50 cause sonic is kinda of a cocky guy and he could potentially lose to mario like the tortoise and the hare and then they both have temporary power ups that grants invincibility
