@Norman1299 @jdbryantdev Hard agree. I feel people tend to forget, not know or heck even sometimes ignore that Mojang is also dealing with two separate game engines, and one of them runs on multiple different systems that can break in multiple ways

@jdbryantdev These people never actually point out the real issue: bureaucracy. Mojang has way too much bureaucracy, they're extremely open about how hard it is to adding stuff to the game because of all the steps but these people never talk about that

People are hating but these are the kind of Minecraft updates that I personally like. The fantasy stuff is cool but I've always enjoyed when they add more nature stuff from real life. For example I love when they add real animals. Hopefully we might get one in this update.

@_c0rnya @Missingno123311 I don’t think we’ll ever really have confirmation what the dot chain truly was based on. Albeit, it’s not a particularly hard mechanic concept to come to for him so it’s easy to accidentally reinvent the idea

@Techpack_64 @Missingno123311 Like this is the same game that accidentally fell ass-backward into recreating the Pac-Dot Chain concept from scratch, seemingly unaware that a move already exists in Pac-Man's games they could use instead I don't think its a stretch that a generic kick happened the same way

@_c0rnya @Missingno123311 I mean, just cause the callout to World is in the previous game don’t make it less important. The fact any reference to them, especially one of his moves being is quite good. Considering the World Series is more niche there (it did sell ok despite rumours of poor sales)

@_c0rnya @Missingno123311 Ultimate seems to take a few nods from Championship edition. And yes, I do agree it’s a shame we don’t have modern Pac-Man or Namco songs in with the classics, but I suspect it was likely both sticking to theme as well as possibly some constraints

@_c0rnya @Missingno123311 That isn’t exactly a new concept for many third party fighters lel. Especially ones from Retro titles. Plus, the Ghost assists do actually follow their arcade attack patterns, so it was possible, just likely did not work in moveset, which is understandable

He represents both himself and an incredibly important era of video games that’s difficult to do right, being arcade games. @_c0rnya @Missingno123311 And as for the Hydrant, it fits super well with the cartoonish, comical aspect of his character. He COULD do something else like like use a Dot Bomb, Butt-Bounce or more, but chucking a heavy fire hydrant at enemies is peak cartoonish comedy

@_c0rnya @Missingno123311 Down Smash has the two “Go out of their way” Ghosts. Pinky trying to get around to be in front, while Clyde guns it to you, before chickening out. Plus, Mappy’s trampoline fits a lot too, since Mappy is the one other than Dig Dug to appear a fair bit in the background
