This storytelling with Sami Zayn has really caught my interest. The fact that I don’t know where it’s going is what makes it so intriguing. Sami confronted Cody Rhodes again and got angry at him for offering a world title match, almost as if Cody was implying Sami could not earn it on his own. Sami told Cody that, unlike Randy Orton, he doesn’t look up to him because he sees him as an equal. Cody responded by saying, “You don’t need to look up at me. You just need to look right here," pointing at the championship. They’re clearly taking Sami in a different direction, and it feels like he’s starting to develop a killer instinct. Whether that leads to a heel turn or not, I’m not sure but I'm hooked. Also… in case you didn’t catch it, the Smackdown crowd booed Cody. Uh-oh.
