.@RobynVinter writes a lead about how journalists are threatened by the far-right at the riots in the last week. It’s true there has been targeted violence but her framing is intentionally misleading. Quantitatively, there have been more attacks by “Muslim patrol” militants from Bolton to Birmingham, including shocking incidents just yesterday. The Guardian’s story mentions none of the violence and threats to the Sky News team in Birmingham. Why?
