We welcomed back @RonAmega from @TokyoMarathon_E where he got his 6 Star Medal @WMMajors Not only did he bring the medal home but also surprised the team with some goodies.He officially presented the “medals” and the goodies to our captain @rnamugera We’re proud of you, Amega!

Massive congratulations on finally completing the Abbott World Marathon Major circuit. You have transitioned from a "person who runs" to a "person who owns a priceless piece of heavy neck-jewelry". You rightfully earned it!!! You’ve conquered the bridges of NYC, survived the 'wall' in Berlin, outran the 4% lottery odds in London, and somehow didn’t get 'heartbreak hilled' into retirement in Boston. Most people bring home souvenirs like keychains or magnets. You brought home 252.99 kilometers of lactic acid, several missing toenails, and a medal that doubles as a defensive weapon. You can finally stop checking the weather in Tokyo six months in advance and start doing something normal on Sunday mornings like sleeping...Just kidding; we know some of you are already looking at the Sydney Marathon for star number seven, the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon and Shanghai Marathon to follow. Enjoy the bragging rights. Last weekend Team Nakasero came together to send off Vincent and @RonAmega as they head to the land of the rising sun to take on @TokyoMarathon_E .They’ll also be getting their 6 Star medal @WMMajors what an incredible milestone! We’re proud of them! #teamnakasero
