@MrPassive_ Pretty sure you can’t deduct the principle off of a payment if you used section 179. But you can def write off the interest.

Corn Phantom Yield Loss: Real example taking it directly to town using my local elevator discount schedule. Harvest at 20%: Yield=200; elevator shrink=7.5%; drying charge=$0.25 Net = 185 bpa (200-7.5%) x $4.00 ($4.25-0.25) = $740 per acre. Harvest at 15%: Yield=188.2 (using 1.18% yield loss per point); shrink=0%; Drying charge=$0 Net = 188.2 bpa x $4.25 = $800 per acre. Where is my math wrong? I've wrestled with this for awhile and keep coming up with same conclusion? Maybe other elevators have different discount schedules? Does having your own dryer change the math? My baby girl turns one today... There's not even a way to articulate the emotions that will be encircling me all day. We didn't even allow ourselves to think about reaching this milestone for the longest time. In fact, when we were first presented with Payton's diagnosis, we were told that less than 10% of infants with Trisomy 13 survive until their first birthday. Payton's unique version of Trisomy 13 plays a part in her being in that incredibly small percentage, but we were bracing for the possibility that this wouldn't be our reality. She is one of the greatest joys in my life. Even though we don't get to see her laugh or talk as much as a typical child at her age, she radiates joy. Not just happiness, but pure joy. And this is all despite going through things that no human being should ever have to endure, but she's proven to us time and time again that she is a warrior and that she will shatter the expectations that have been placed upon her based on her diagnosis. Payton, I love you so much and I love how you have brought people closer to Jesus through witnessing the unique miracle that you are.

I don't think Husker fans realize or give themselves enough credit in having the ability to help flip the script on the "fear of failure" that's plagued the football program for almost a decade. Be a supporter this year. Not a fanatic. The power of positivity is infectious. It might be the last spark needed to blow the top off this thing again. If it doesn't, at least we're having fun along the way #GBR

Have you inspected your seed trench?? Things like sidewall compaction and possibly open slot at bottom of trench can still be seen. While nothing can be done for this season.... knowing an adjustment is needed for next year can pay huge dividends. Attached pics have been common this year with high speed planters that have single stage closing systems. Bottom part of seed trench was never closed. Call you local Pioneer Sales Rep with questions!
