❤️‍🩹 At Okhmatdyt, Ukraine's National Children's Specialized Hospital in Kyiv, a hallway of honor was held for a 13-year-old posthumous donor who saved four lives Ivan, a young Ukrainian boy, was hospitalized with a severe traumatic brain injury. Despite doctors' efforts, he was later declared brain dead according to medical criteria. In a deeply difficult decision, his parents consented to organ donation 🙏 Thanks to this decision, four patients on the transplant waiting list received a chance at life. The hospital staff honored Ivan by walking him through a "corridor of honor," a ceremonial tradition where medical teams pay tribute to organ donors. 🚨A fire erupted at the industrial site of LPP Holding in Pardubice, where, among other things, drones for Ukraine are produced. Investigators are looking into several possible causes, including deliberate arson. A little-known group has claimed responsibility online, though officials say that information is still being verified.
