Week after week, professional sports teams in MLS are an embarrassment. Miami last week, Montreal this week. Would love the league to hold its clubs to the access that is agreed to under the league's CBA!

@LaurelPfahler Very different but, Miranchuk was not on the team sheet yesterday. Not on the injury report Friday. The league doesn't respect itself which is why no one in South America or Europe respects it either.

@jcanas00 @IC_Analysis I strongly disagree, Baez had an assist and a few tackles in a 3-2 loss, otherwise hes been poor the other 6 starts. Alzate looked good in September and October when he was a regular starter. He covered a lot of ground, made progressive passes, and was effective on D.

Been watching Atlanta United recently.
Steven Alzate is an immense player. So much quality.
Him, Matias Galarza, Enea Mihaj, Emmanuel Latte Lath, Cooper Sanchez, Aleksey Miranchuk and Pedro Amador are all extremely talented players. Don’t know how they ended up at such a club.

@aufcXylph Right, for some reason I thought he was gone summer of 2023, it was summer of 2024. I would say all of these 3 are on role player designations, and all 3 are role players. The bigger misses are Almiron and ELL. IMO Miranchuk could be argued as a bad signing or neutral.

@gudaro_ar Atlanta has 3 of the top 20 players in MLS per transfer value (per transfermarkt) but, if you watch the games ELL, Almiron, Miranchuk dont belong in the top 60. Then there is an issue of the role players being added by 3 coaches with 3 systems. Otherwise ATL could sell them on.
