I will not debate this case with internet commentators or lawyers trying to litigate it on social media. People keep asking whether I believe the State has proven its case. My answer is simple: No. Based on everything I have seen and heard, I do not believe the prosecution has proven the level of intent required for a capital murder conviction under Texas law. This case must be decided by the law not emotion, politics, public pressure, or social media narratives. I am not a lawyer, nor do I speak for Karmelo Anthony’s legal team. I am simply sharing my perspective based on what I have witnessed throughout this process. As a leader, I know we have done everything within our power to ensure Karmelo received a fair trial and the strongest opportunity for a defense. To those who support him: stay patient, stay focused, and don’t allow social media to shake your faith. I still believe God is in control. I still believe justice matters. And I still believe this case will end with a not guilty verdict. Now, we wait. #KarmeloAnthony
