Roads are converging and it’s an exciting time to be a JMU fan. Should be a fun ride the next few years as we continue to raise the level of our program. #LevelUp

@jcarp8 No down side to bringing players into the program from high level academic ACC and B1G schools IMO.

@SSN_JMU Transfers from 13-18 Notre Dame & 15-19 Northwestern should make JMU MBB an instant contender for the NCAAs Unless that was sarcasm that I missed, let's not get caught up on program names until this staff shows it can (1) find better talent & (2) get 5 guys playing together

An encouraging addition for JMU. Lattimore was asked to shoot a ton this season, and his 3-point percentage held up even with a high shot volume. Should be a nice Sun Belt guard.
Sam Kayser@KayserHoops

NEWS: NC Central transfer Gage Lattimore has committed to James Madison, he told @LeagueRDY. The 6-foot-2 sophomore spent one season at NC Central and averaged 16.6PPG, 4.3RPG, 2.4APG and 1.3SPG. Shot 39.2% from 3.

@tommygodinjr I would have considered Lindsay as your 1 - I think the team is too small - I know Jay Wright had teams that were similar but those were all nba caliber guards

(1/6) Some thoughts on today’s transactions: Villanova is loaded (monetarily). They’re going to have enough assets to compete at the top of the league next year. I’m fully confident they’ll have a just as, if not more talented roster than this year. That said… #🧵

Both Lewis/Lindsay played well here, it’s a shame. Rumors are both got solid offers but both decided to test the portal. But their actions this season proved that: Lewis decommitted from Kentucky to get a starting spot and Lindsay will be on his 4th team in 4 years and wants $$$

I came up in coaching a huge @UNC_Basketball Dean Smith fan. To me, he’s the best coach in college basketball history for coaches to study. The coach who the closest to coaching like him is @VandyMBB Mark Byington. I don’t know him well & have no dog in the fight but, given the resources, I think he would win big. Saw him win a game once down 5 with 5 seconds to go, Dean Smith style.

In the current format the last 4 auto and last 4 at large participate in the First Four to gain entry to the 64 team bracket. Will this expansion result in the last 4 auto and last 8 at large in Dayton over two days? Would be 3 games per day on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Yahoo Sports@YahooSports

The NCAA is expected to finalize an expansion of the men’s and women’s tournaments to 76 teams soon after the completion of this year’s March Madness tournament, per Yahoo Sports' @RossDellenger. Barring something unforeseen, “it will happen,” a high-placed source told Dellenger. The proposal would add eight games to the First Four, with 24 teams playing in an opening round before advancing into the second round.
