@alicekeeler @VictoriaTheTech If your district was utilizing the most up-to-date content on Edgenuity and using it with teachers, that is precisely what the platform can do! Sounds to me that your district is using it to teach, but the platform is NOT designed to replace teachers.

@VictoriaTheTech Turning in until you pass should be the norm. Also... if we were standards based summer should be hitting the standards that are "not yet" not the whole darn thing.

Can someone explain to me that "what is best for kids" is summer school of garbage online curriculum like Edgenuity with one teacher for all subjects?! I get the budgeting but is this what is the best LEARNING for students who struggled? If we just want kits to complete a checklist of busywork... I really question what is the purpose of the requirements then...
