Där jag brukar bo i Stockholm kostar en frukost numera 195 kr per person och totalpriserna är högre i höst på samtliga av mina datum än någon bokning under våren. Då bodde jag ändå under dyra maj.

@swetruth @vringhed Frukost-avdraget på traktamentet är drygt 40 kr i Sverige. Det får knappt en kopp kaffe för. Då ska man verkligen inte vilja ha frukost alls för att tycka att det är bra.

Hej Scandic. Vill meddela att jag lämnar er efter många års boende. Ena skälet är att natt MED frukost stiger i pris med denna ”valmöjlighet”, Det andra är er nya idiotpolicy med incheck 16.00 och avgift för en timme tidigare. Vill ni vara Ryanair så var det, men jag avstår.

@Spiggen1 @vringhed @SohoSune Min bokning igår blev med rum+frukost på hotels.com billigare än att boka direkt på Scandic. Scandic har prisgaranti på rummet men inte på rum+frukost. Sparade 126 kr för en natt genom att boka på hotels - 10%. På 80 hotellnätter om året blir det en del.

Certainly not saying it isn’t an attributing factor but the vast majority of tourism in America is by Americans. I’m not sure how many families who promised their kids they were going to Disneyland are turning around and saying they aren’t going because of orange man. The lads aren’t not taking the trip to vegas or Miami because of orange man. Miami tourism is generally driven by Americans anyway. So going back to my original point, these places are unlikely to be quiet due to orange man as much as people want that to be true and more likely to be signs of weakness in the American economy and lack of affordability due to incredibly high prices

Miami is DEAD. We discussed this today on Macro Monday. I was there last week, normally peak tourist season. You could get a reservation at any restaurant you wanted, any time. This is unheard of. The beach was not crowded. Tourists aren't interested in the US right now.

The importing company claim the VAT back get gets it refunded. Upon selling the imported - or domestic goods - to end consumer, VAT is added. It is a consumer tax added on everything
