I’ve been an EMT for 5 years now, treating patients in homeless encampments and in the aftermath of sweeps. The sweeps kill people. Shelters often dehumanize and abuse the ppl they should serve, and sometimes a tent is the best option. ‘25 Zohran was right, and now he’s wrong.
