Thinking back to my war experience - one of the hardest things to accept about our little Muslim brethren (more than the hand-holding) was the way they'd cry openly, or wail, or cry AND wail, etc. As a westerner, seeing "men" act like emotional little girls was just - wrong & deeply disturbing. Sometimes they'd even stamp their little feet. It also fundamentally re-wired the way I view Muslims when they "talk tough" (or pretend to be contrite). I can't take them seriously. They're vicious, underhanded, dishonest, and cruel...but in every other way they're venal & mendacious. And why not? This is what they consider holy writ: Qur'an 3:54: "And they cheated/deceived and God cheated/deceived, and God is the best of the cheaters/deceivers."
