🚨BREAKING: The "Cursor for scientific research" just dropped and it runs entirely inside Claude Code. It's called claude-scientific-skills and it gives Claude 140 ready-to-use scientific skills from a single plugin install. No API doc hunting. No library configuration. No duct-taped research pipelines. It's powered by 28+ live scientific databases wired directly into Claude. → Describe your research goal in plain English → Claude finds the right skill automatically → Full pipeline runs: data retrieval → analysis → publication-ready output → Works across biology, chemistry, medicine, ML, and clinical research All running inside Claude Code. Zero manual setup. But it's not just a prompt library. It's a full AI research lab: → Drug discovery: ChEMBL → RDKit → DiffDock → lead optimization in one prompt → Genomics: 10X data → Scanpy → GRN inference → pathway enrichment → Clinical: VCF → ClinVar → pharmacogenomics → patient report → Multi-omics: RNA-seq + proteomics + metabolomics integrated automatically 7.8k stars. 924 forks. MIT Licensed. MacOS, Windows, Linux works everywhere Claude Code runs. This is the moment AI stops being a chat tool and becomes an actual research partner. Link in the first comment 👇

👏 Outstanding talk by @ldawsonmd, our HCC 👸🏻 Clear 💪 story of how EBRT meaningfully integrates into pt care for HCC across all BCLC stages, but esp. in tumors with MVI 🙏🏻 enroll in GI012 @NRGonc to help us answer the❓IO +/- SBRT in unresectable HCC @ACRORadOnc #ACRO2026

Today in Cell, we published new research showing how AI can help accelerate cancer discovery. With GigaTIME, we can now simulate spatial proteomics from routine pathology slides, enabling population-scale analysis of tumor microenvironments across dozens of cancer types and hundreds of subtypes. Developed in partnership with Providence and the University of Washington, our hope is that this work helps scientists move faster from data to insight, revealing new links between genetic mutations, immune activity, and clinical outcomes, and ultimately improving health for people everywhere.

‼️ The treatment is doomed to failed before even prescribed. Stop hoping for lucky mutations. The core problem is pre-existing, established resistance lurking in the tumor right now. Luria-Delbrück explains why 90% kill rates = “CR”, but failure! 🧵

The paper also highlights the need to understand the complex cellular biology post-SBRT. Each tumor type and each tumor is different. It's not just about BED, α/β; clearly, the implications are far more than that.

1/ Our Nature paper on radiation-induced AREG sparked discussion - and some misinterpretation (nature.com/articles/s4158…). We clarify key points in our new Authors’ View in the Red Journal (@IJROBP). 🧵 Here’s what we actually found — and what we didn’t: sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Who needs immunotherapy after SABR for early-stage NSCLC, and who does not? Our clinical and radiomic AI modeling indicates that only 65% require immunotherapy in this setting. Biologically guided, individualized immunotherapy is the future. urldefense.com/v3/__https:/ji…$

San Francisco's BART might be confusing, especially if you're here for the first time. But BART (Bladder Adjuvant Radiation Therapy) from @VedangMurthy isn't, and it just works. As always, it's a stellar presentation. #ASTRO25 #radonc

We are grateful for the tremendous response to our recent manuscript and want to ensure a precise interpretation of our findings. Our research indicates that local radiation therapy in patients with pre-existing metastases may exert paradoxical effects—reducing the dissemination

@SaiKumarSamala_ The thing is if you know, something is bad you can neutralize it most of the proteins that have come up. There are either antibodies or small molecules against.

The title may be a little worrying for radiation oncologists. But honestly this is some great work by @rweichselbaum . I have already started analyzing the seq data from the study and it's exciting. We need to push the boundaries of the field even if it's in an uncomfortable space.

🔥 Hot off the press: Ralph Weichselbaum, MD, and his team published a new study in @Nature demonstrating that high-dose radiation to primary tumors can unexpectedly promote tumor growth at metastatic sites. @rweichselbaum @AndrasPiffko @UChicagoRadonc uchicagomedicine.org/forefront/canc…
