@__DeeeCR7 @EzeChineduChri1 I would suggest he should manage the one leg since he doesn’t have anything to contribute to his own surgery! I mean, it doesn’t make sense that people are suffering to raise funds for him while he’s busy celebrating the people who kept Nigeria in this current situation.

Baddy, I’m sorry if this comes off as insensitive, but I need to ask. You’re a big account with well over 100k followers, which means you likely earn at least $700 every week. Are you saying you couldn’t save up to ₦1m of your own money to contribute to your surgery? Let’s even leave aside the fact that people weren’t clearly told the donations were only for one leg. How much have you personally contributed so far? Because from the outside, it looks like you’re doing better than a lot of the people being asked to donate. Earning close to a million naira every two weeks from revenue and gigs, yet people who are not even sure where their next meal will come from are expected to give from what little they have to send you to Egypt just doesn’t sit right.

Lately I’ve been thinking about something interesting and I’m genuinely curious to learn. Some Japanese names and places, like Ehime, sound quite similar to names we have in parts of Africa. I know languages can evolve differently, but I wonder if this is purely coincidence or if there are deeper linguistic or historical explanations behind it. I would really love to hear perspectives from Japanese people and anyone knowledgeable about language and culture. This afternoon, I received the Enugu Polling Booths Vanguard for Atiku, a group chiefly concerned with the sanctity of the ballots, led by Chief Obodoeze Ocho. They believe that every vote must count in 2027. I fully agree with them that protecting votes at the Polling Units level is vital for the coming elections.
