Pitt is about as intellectually intriguing as Succession or Breaking Bad, by which I mean not at all. But you can't just have a well made show anymore so anyway talking about it wrong is evil. Cheers is a great show. Would you call someone a moron for shipping Diane and Frasier?

@brianchaley The real problem is people thinking they are watching a deeper show than they are because they confuse well made drama with deep art and instead when unable to discuss the new thing in deep terms they just turn to "well these other people talk about it wrong". See: Succession

This season of The Pitt has done extraordinary work showing how institutional destruction trickles down to a personal, emotional level. More and more roadblocks in the world got everyone hanging by a thread.

if The Pitt had chosen to be just a bit smarter, even just Mad Men-level, it could have avoided the nonsense around it by alienating those conditioned by growing up online to believe the point of art is to pick a person you see yourself in and cheer them on
