I am home after 19 harrowing days in hospital where I stopped breathing after surgery and spent 10 days in the ICU. My hair is growing back patchily after chemo made me bald. I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck and can only walk slowly. That was hard but necessary to remove the cancer in my stomach, so I don’t really have a stomach anymore. My weirdest symptom today is “an impending sense of doom” every time I eat. It’s a thing apparently. I hope that goes away before I develop an eating disorder. Anyway I’m so happy to be alive and with my family again! Thanks to everyone for their support and kind words. ❤️

Astrophotographers - what things have you 3D printed that were actually useful? Cable management clips are good. I tried a tilt shift adapter for canon EF but it was too junky to trust a lens on.

Happy Ring Plane Crossing! Every 14-15 years, Saturn’s rings seem to vanish from Earth when we see them edge-on. This happens because of Saturn’s 26.7° tilt as it orbits the Sun. Here’s Hubble’s view from 1995 and 2009! 🪐
