Election Day is a deadline every voter knows. When mail-in ballots are counted for days after, voter distrust in election results increases rapidly.

For three election cycles in a row now, Florida has been the model for efficient, responsible, and transparent elections. Today, I signed the Florida SAVE Act to reinforce our commitment to election integrity and security.

Supreme Court justices should be chosen based on their legal acumen, adherence to the Constitution, and sound jurisprudence—not their race or gender. DEI and its consequences. 🤦‍♂️

Because You Still Matter. Senator Bolick, thank you! Thank you for being such a champion for providing victims of these horrific crimes with the actual lifetime protection they deserve! You have continued to strengthen this law in Arizona, and we are so grateful for you! Now that this bill has passed and been signed into law, victims of aggravated harassment involving domestic violence are able to petition the court for a lifetime injunction under “Kayleigh’s Law”! This addition to Kayleigh’s Law- Adds felony aggravated harassment involving domestic violence to the list of offenses for which a victim may request a lifetime injunction against the convicted defendant. Background- The court is permitted to issue Lifetime injunctions that prohibit the defendant from contacting the victim if the defendant is convicted of committing the following offenses weather completed or preparatory: 1) a dangerous offense that is a felony; 2) a serious offense or violent or aggravated felony; 3) felony sexual offenses: 4) felony aggravated assault; 5) voyeurism; or 6) felony stalking (A.R.S. § 13-719). A person commits aggravated harassment if he commits harassment while subject to an order of protection, a court order restricting contact with the victim, or any other criminal-related injunction or if he has a prior conviction of domestic violence against the victim (A.R.S. § 13. 2921.01). Provisions- 1. Allows a victim to request a lifetime injunction if the defendant was convicted of felony aggravated harassment involving domestic violence. This is a huge win for victims of domestic violence in the state of Arizona! I will never stop fighting for you, Because You Still Matter! . . .
