@Kngsolo305 @messedupfoods It’s not but even if it was it would be irrelevant. “Shit choices” doesn’t mean you or your children deserve to starve. Those choices also become irrelevent of the system prevents you from improving.

@Sbeveunmo @messedupfoods They get shit jobs because they made shit choices. This is the case for the overwhelmingly majority There may be a few that have been dealt a shit hand but that’s more rare than most want to admit

@Kngsolo305 @messedupfoods You’re the one in fairytale land, specifically backward conservative fairytale. The jobs people work are often the only jobs they can work because reality is complicated. Jobs shouldn’t pay shit wages. Bad food is cheaper and not the only factor. Food is very much an issue.

@emit151 @ChrisMartzWX Trump also lambasted the entire process. Most vaccine denial starts with Andrew Wakefield but there’s plenty of people who’ve capitalized on it. There is long term data because we know how vaccines work. You don’t, which is why it failed the smell test.

@Sbeveunmo @ChrisMartzWX My programmers where who, exactly? Trump himself recommended it, lol. I didn't take it because you cannot call something "safe" without long term data. It didn't pass the smell test, then they tried to force people to take it - even kids, which was obviously f'd up.

lol, LMFAO even. The “science” around trans people is in fact open for debate because it is 100% made-up BULLSHIT. I do not GAF what “peer-reviewed” literature says or what the “experts” say. They are wrong. All of them. To embrace the trans madness is to deny biology and a natural fact that was universally accepted by everyone until about 15 years ago. Gender dysphoria is a mental disorder. It is a physical appearance issue that is not much different from anorexia. If you wake up and think that you were born in the wrong body, then you have a very serious mental disorder. You can identify however you choose, but your delusions do not alter reality. Just because I may choose to identify as Tom Selleck does not change the fact that I am still Chris Martz. Just because I may choose to identify as a poison dart frog does not change the biological reality that I am a human. Just because I may choose to identify as a 20-time Grammy award-winning rock ‘n roll icon that can slay a guitar better than Mick Mars doesn’t change the fact that I have no Grammy trophies on my bookshelf and that I am not the greatest guitar player. Just because a man chooses to identify as a woman does not change the fact that he is a man and will still have to get a prostate exam. And, just because something is new or a trend does not mean that it is good or we should embrace it. Do you hop on every latest fashion or TikTok trend? I definitely don’t. Conservatives by and large don’t “deny science” or statistics. Leftists manipulate science and statistics to get certain policies enacted. Conservatives see this and will therefore question the methods and motives like real scientists do. It’s called the scientific method. Leftists hate a lot of statistics; especially the one that shows how a specific demographic of people (~13% of the U.S. population, or really 6% if you remove females) commit more than 50% of the violent crime on a per capita basis. Leftists like to bring up how “red states” have high violent crime rates and/or that residents are on welfare, but they ignore the fact both are generally characteristic of the same demographic and are in blue cities. Huntsville, Alabama, where I live, is a stark contrast from Birmingham and Montgomery. Why? The demographics are starkly different and the city isn’t run by Democrats who embrace catch-and-release policies. Sit down and shut up.
Factory Reset@DrunkAt12

@ChrisMartzWX When anything new comes along, conservatives tend to dislike it. And they will deny and science or statistics. The science around trans people is not open for debate. People's biased and simplistic responses are the problem.

@Kngsolo305 @messedupfoods Most people on food stamps do work. Relying on shelters will result in those shelters running out. Increase the value of wages and decrease the price of food Everything you said is incorrect.

If your poor you do qualify If you’re capable of working you shouldn’t. I understand the cut off limit and people making that amount still live in poverty but they are feed through their own income and if you can’t afford food there are shelters everywhere. Also nothing I say is incorrect.

@Harvey77865 @EdwardStein41 @simonmaechling No simply what questions ought to be taken seriously. Galileo pioneered a lot of modern science so he wouldn’t be applicable since the standard we’re talking about didn’t exist then.

A plumber knows more about plumbing than you. A pilot knows more about flying than you. A scientist usually knows more about science than you. That doesn’t make them automatically right. But it does mean the burden of proof is on the person claiming thousands of experts got it wrong. Science isn’t a democracy. It’s not decided by likes, vibes, or confidence. It’s decided by evidence. And evidence doesn’t care who wins the argument.

@emit151 @ChrisMartzWX Actually it is, you didn’t get vaccinated because your programmers told you not to. The single largest propgabfa and pressure campaign in your 55 years of life was that you shouldn’t get vaccinated. You’re still an NPC, just in a different area in the game.

@EdwardStein41 @simonmaechling Science is decided by evidence until better evidence comes along Science rarely uses proof since there’s almost never 100% certainty most of what experts don’t agree on is lightyears ahead of what most people are aware of. EDUCATED Questions and challenges should be encouraged.

What if the experts don't agree? And Science is not DECIDED by evidence. Are you a lawyer or something? Science is DECIDED by proof. Empirical studies, modeling, and experimentation are essential and valuable but often not decisive. Scientific and mathematical proof is awesome when we achieve it, and until we do, questions and challenges should be encouraged.

@simonmaechling How did COVID originate? Probably through science. But, we may never know because science is participating in the cover up. That is a reasonable reason to be skeptical of science.

@emit151 @ChrisMartzWX @grok The “data” you peddle comes from losers with as little understanding of medicine as you. No Fauci wasn’t making shit up, nor did he claim he did. The people you listen to told you this, and since you can’t do any research (as we’ve already seen) you believe them.

I am not here to do your research for you. AI wasn't around in 2020, but Google was - and there were plenty of discussions going on between people w/ the actual data and NPCs like you regurgitating the ivory tower take that went against the science. Fauci has since admitted he was making shit up.

@emit151 @ChrisMartzWX @grok Its not my research. Its yours. You have to do research to support your claims and not sue a chatbot prone to bias and hallucinations. The NPC’s regurgitating bs were people like you who lack even a basic understanding of healthcare and only care about being contrarians.

@emit151 @ChrisMartzWX Many diseases and viruses are asymptomatic and still contagious. That you don’t understand this proves you are a hypocrite as you clearly don’t think for yourself but instead listen to whatever conmen and grifters say.

@Sbeveunmo @ChrisMartzWX If you don't know you are sick, you aren't sick. You are contagious to a very minor degree - this is true of virtually all viruses, thus the "Virology 101" comment. Shedding increases when symptoms appear: coughing/sneezing, etc. You are proving my point by your arguing, lol.

@emit151 @ChrisMartzWX Except when the drug operates on the same principles as every other, then it’s not experimental. You also don’t know what experimental actually means. @Sbeveunmo @ChrisMartzWX By definition, if you have no long term data on a specific drug, it is experimental- thus the "emergency use authorization" to get it released to the public. Your again proving my original point of the "appeal to authority" logical fallacy and acting like an NPC.

@emit151 @ChrisMartzWX We knew very little about Covid which is why precautions were taken. The vaccines weren’t experimental. It’s not illegal for jobs to require vaccines and it’s immoral to not get them. You’re just repeating the contrarian bs from people who know nothing about healthcare.

Like I said, total lack of critical thinking. Before Covid, virology 101: if you are not symptomatic, "go and do". If symptomatic, "stay home". If infected, but not symptomatic, you shed very lightly, innculating those you come into contact with. Anyone under 65 and not fat or already dying from something else were NOT AT RISK. Forcing an experimental therapy on anyone is illegal and immoral. Mortality rate for 99% of people under 65 was less than 2%.

@emit151 @ChrisMartzWX Mortality rates are not prescriptive. The rates were low because people took action to prevent people from dying. People were still hospitalized, which over clogged the healthcare system leading to more deaths. Furthermore not dying doesn’t mean unaffected.

@emit151 @ChrisMartzWX Covid can begin asymptomatic, meaning you won’t know you’re sick. People who are over 65, immuno compromised, or had other health conditions are at risk and that’s why her immunity is important. Furthermore, people not in that group are still at risk just slightly less so.
