What if the future of onchain businesses isn't relying on insane volatility but instead making great sustainable products with a dash of speculation. One can dream.

@Cooopahtroopa @ProbCause has existed as both an anomaly and a case study. He came up with an organic fan base from music work built off of merit as opposed to hype. He has then been able to build a very authentic web3 community and tie the two back together.

It's basically impossible for creators with a high profile to launch a token and it not end poorly for them in today's market. And yet crypto people try to bait everyone with a semblance of a following to launch a token so they can snipe it and make a quick flip. (or hack their account and do it on their behalf) There's no best practices for how a creator should do it "right" because frankly none currently exist. If they do it "right" - it results in the creator generally making no money and having to put in more time, effort and energy than anything else in their career which is a massive ask for very unclear and unproven returns. And when creators do make money off their token - crypto people relentless spam them and ask to pour every cent back into it just so they can have a chance to make money instead. So broken all around. I have the utmost respect to anyone working with high profile creators to onboard them to crypto in any way shape or form. But we need to be realistic that crypto people's expectations for a token is so far beyond comprehension from creators that launch them and we're nowhere close to this being able to scale in a meaningful fashion.
