Glaze coat looked pretty good but failed to harden; I worked in a warm room, so I likely botched the epoxy ratio. It’s already been scraped and sanded to remove the coat, easily the hardest step in the whole process so far lol Video shows it before scraping.

I thought about your work a few times during the process; would like to try making a portrait in this style eventually.
Would probably do a hybrid between depth slice like I did here, and a features slice like your Tech Epochalypse; treat eyes and mouth as feature slices and contour the head and hair in thin depth slices.

And glazed! 2 or 3 glaze coats should do it. Very happy with the results, despite a few process issues along the way.

The first time I created a piece that I saw during a meditation…. Must thank the source for providing and create without expectation.
This work as sound activated color changing lights in the walkway and blow torches canvas. Also the first use of 3D spacers that would later show up again in my kinetic 3D portraits
