@WillDowningComm Can’t say I refer to it as my “amputation” in the context that you would use stump. This seems like a very minor issue in the big scheme of things, if talking about me, use what you feel relevant !

There's a recommendation from within para sport that commentators refer to shortened limbs as "amputations" and not "stumps". But I've only ever heard para athletes and colleagues with impairments refer to the latter, never the former. Any direction from para athletes here?
