Happy to say I have found a piper to play for us this Wednesday 15th April outside the houses of parliament in London after we do a minutes silence to remember all the children whose lifes have been taken or lost on the streets across the UK. I was going to go to Camden first where I do a vigil ever few years to remember all the Scottish children whose lifes were taken or lost on the streets of London, many of who I called family when I was homeless after spending sixteen years in the care system but after speaking to some friends who are going to be at this vigil I think it would be better to do this one outside the houses of parliament where there will be a lot more people with similar childhood stories and vocation to mine. We are hoping to do a minutes silence at 3pm and there will be candles for people to light, weather permitting. The piper Millie will then play "When the battle is over" as a lament as opposed to a march and then we hope she will finish with "Highland Cathedral"... If you are in the area come and join us and light a candle for a loved one.. An end to the current evil practices in the Family Court, An end to 'Forced Adoption', 'Forced Foster Care' and Forced Local Authority and Private Care Homes' done at the UK Taxpayers Expense. A child is taken in the UK from its birth parents every 15 minutes 24/7/365- destruction of innocent little lives. Channel 4 News gained unprecedented access to the courts supporting parents through their addiction to reunite them with their children. Specialist family drug and alcohol courts, or FDAC, have been proven to save money and keep families together. But just this week one has closed - the second this year alone, fuelling calls for greater support from the government.
