Tomorrow Scotland can ban greyhound racing for good, as the Scottish Parliament takes its final vote on @markruskell's bill. This cruel 'sport' results in the deaths of hundreds of dogs in the UK and leaves tens of thousands injured. It's time it was finally brought to an end.

📢Following comprehensive safety checks and a full site assessment by Glasgow City Council, @NetworkRailSCOT will be able to partially reopen Glasgow Central (platforms 7-15) from Wednesday, 18 March. We'll run as many services as possible, but with a reduced number of platforms available, and limited entry and exit points for customers, this will not allow for the return of trains on all routes. The following services will run from Wednesday, 18 March: 🔵Ayr and Glasgow Central – a half hourly service, calling at all stations between Paisley Gilmour Street – Kilwinning (Johnstone / Milliken Park / Howwood / Lochwinnoch / Glengarnock / Dalry). 🔵Gourock and Glasgow Central – an hourly service, calling at all stations. 🔵Wemyss Bay and Glasgow Central – an hourly service, calling at all stations. 🔵Kilmarnock and Glasgow Central – a half hourly service, calling at all stations (integrated with normal Carlisle/South Ayrshire services). 🔵East Kilbride and Glasgow Central – a half hourly service. 🔵Lanark and Glasgow Central – an hourly service. @Bashful1010Cs @scotgov The UK Govt controls UK airspace, it does not decide who gets to land at Prestwick Airport. The Israeli military is already unable to land at Prestwick, despite being an ally of the UK Government. That's pretty clear evidence that this isnt reserved, on top of the FM's own words

It is a foreign policy matter though Ross because it was the UK govt in Westminster who gave trump the access and because of devolved powers that means even if it’s a private airport owned by the Scottish Govt they aren’t allowed to as Westminster still gets last say. Unfortunately this is still a case for an independent Scotland that I know we all want because it would give us an absolute power to tell Trump to stay away from Scotland without Westminster being able to overrule it.

This is completely dishonest. @scotgov owns the Scottish airport being used extensively by the US military as part of their bombing campaign against Iran. The First Minister has already conceded this isn't a reserved matter, so why won't he evict Trump's troops now?
