What kind of space do you need to self-regulate?

What a wonderful meeting with @olliebray, Do Coyle and @htcors1 this morning discussing the importance of space as the third teacher. Exciting things afoot and really looking forward to working with @EducationScot

We are considering the power of space in ensuring an Inclusive Learning Environment… how can the spaces we design and develop ensure that all learners feel the sense of belonging that is intrinsic to Inclusion?

@SteelcaseLearn This is such an agile design… so many opportunities for deep learning, learner engagement and a sense of belonging.

Tomorrow in Gather Round we are going to ask our learners and staff what we could do to this space to create The Burrow… there will be a Forms link for parents/carers too! What do you think? Some learners find the start of the school day tricky and this space will help…

On Monday the Scottish Alliance participated in Workshop 3 of the @IleseProject. We discussed how many of the gaps identified within learning environment research are consistent across the globe and Scotland's distinct priorities in participatory design & professional learning

Tomorrow some of our Parent Council members are coming together for a Rapid Action Planning meeting. We will be thinking about some key elements of our School Renewal Plan. One project is developing a Learning Space in our old First Aid room… how would you like the room to feel?
