Great start to the day. Feet against the fire. Our girls showed up! Faced a hitting Firecrackers team. But our defense stepped it up!

Bats came out hot in the semis—12 runs on 11 hits! I went 2 for 3 with a bunt single and a single up the middle and extra bases on a fielding error. Our team battled through 7 innings in the first bracket game and came out on top! I hit .667 with two singles and 1 RBI and tracked down a well hit ball in left center to secure the out. Came out strong in our final pool game—played well as a team! In the box, I hit .500 with a double to right center and had a nice defensive play throwing a batter out at first on a grounder to right field to take away the hit.
