This guy is crazy and does not reflect the views of all Danes. Unfortunately, the party he's part of is part of the current government. You can't have privacy without encryption. You can't have freedom without privacy. The chat control bill claims it will prevent criminals from communicating and sharing via encrypted services. I guarantee that the people who want to use encrypted communication for criminal purposes will find ways to do so. Those who will suffer from this outrageous proposal are the regular people. I am certain this chat control proposal is disguised as targeting the "bad people", but in reality, it's a step towards mass surveillance, and the politicians in charge are well aware of it.

There has been a bump in the amount of EUR stablecoin transactions on EVM chains in the past weeks. Going from 755M EUR on the 23rd to 12B on the 30th of December, 2024. With most of the volume being on Base.

I don’t understand why CT seems to be bullish on Unichain, it’s not even an app-chain but general purpose rollup which will end up having the same dapps on top of it as other L2s. I kinda imagine the process of thinking: if current tech allows us to access liquidity of other L2s then let’s build the gateway to all rollups, but in my mind it would work only with real app-chains, not general purpose L2. I’m bullish on app-chains, not on general L2s which lead to higher fragmentation.
