@TiredThunder That series is the biggest inspiration. Playing them today baffles my mind how they managed to do such tight and visually beautiful games with a small dev team back in the 90's.

Another game concept I've been thinking is a post-apocalyptic setting with a positive theme where people have started rebuilding the world. Inspiration comes from Metal Slug, Sentinel Girls and Arknights, so it'd be a 2D action. Won't be as big in adjacent art as Exit the Dragon.

@GENCZILLA That's a very common thing to see in a commission sheet of things people DON'T draw. I always see it as a strength that artists can and are willing to draw mechs.
