@SfcLarin @AlexComber_ Not sure to be honest. He’s a ‘stopper’ CB , but I don’t think he’s physical enough for the PL. He’s big, but he’s not fast enough. If third choice, would depend on how many games he ended up playing. Fine as a squad member.

Seing loads of Premier League "what if's" on the timeline. This group of Southampton players would absolutely so a better job in the top flight under Tonda Eckert than last season's crop of players, I have no doubt about that. But I don't think for a second it's just a couple of signings away from being a Prem-ready squad, and despite the dreadful management of last season, there were many who just did not step up at all. There's a chance Saints don't go up this season, so it's not a big debate to get into, but for me the only players who you want in the starting XI are Peretz, Harwood-Bellis, Charles and Scienza. At a push maybe Azaz. The gulf between the two divisions is enormous, and was completely underestimated when Saints had their transfer window ahead of 24/25. #SaintsFC
