I find it hard to believe that the administration @WhiteHouse doesn’t already know that a Venezuela- style regime change will not work in Iran. Ghalibaf is a criminal and despised by the people of Iran ( I am not talking about regime cronies and its cyber army who get paid to praise these criminals).

Ghalibaf is ideologically the same as Khamenei except he wears a suit. Anyone who thinks he is Delcy Rodriguez 2.0 is sorely mistaken, Ghalibaf is Khamenei pro max. Leaving him in charge of Iran solves nothing, just kicks the can down the line.

@POTUS already knows that Ghalibaf is one of the most despised and disrespected figures by the people of Iran. In fact, there is absolutely no possibility under the sun that after all the loss and heartache, the people of Iran will settle for anything less than a full-on regime change with the leader of their choice aka HRH Reza Pahlavi. Now why @POTUS said what he said regarding negotiations with Ghalibaf, no one knows except his circle of close friends. We should have faith that he is a man of the world and smart enough to know already that no-one from insidethe regime will work.

I continue to follow the situation in the Middle East with dismay. Like other regions of the world, it is torn apart by war and violence. Just like always, the regime will not budge! Why are y’all completely ignoring the fact that a regime change under the leadership of HRH Reza Pahlavi will resolve each and every issue we have now? How else can we make you see us, our leader of choice, our hopes and aspirations? Why are we so invisible to the administration?

Obliterating essential infrastructure hurts civilians and will significantly hinder the process of regime change as it will deprive the people of the means to effectively protest. Furthermore, it will drag the United States deeper into a costly crisis, raise prices every where, and hurt 90 million civilians most of whom support you now, but will unite against you if you deprive them of their basic rights such as access to clean water and power. The regime exactly wants this and will use this to further empower themselves. See! You will be helping the regime not hurting them! Instead of targeting what hurts the people, target regime officials many of whom are still alive and in hiding. This will provide the people with the chance to rise up once conditions are relatively safe.

This is a terrible idea! POTUS is not at war with the people of Iran, but with the regime of Iran, or at least that is what he has led the people to believe. To refresh your memory, Iranian people love and support POTUS. By obliterating power plants, he will hurt millions of Iranian civilians who happen to deeply hate the regime and are waiting for a chance for regime change. Regime change is the only way to get out of this situation and this terrible terrible decision will ruin the whole process of regime change that has been taking place.
