I’ve been wondering where the Conservative Party of Canada stood on social media bans, and I finally got my answer.
Conservative MP, David McKenzie, is calling on the Liberal government: ‘’ to table comprehensive legislation to ensure that kids are safe online…”
So the party who’s supposed to be pro personal accountability is officially in favor of forcing every Canadian to attach their government issued IDs to their social media accounts to prove their age.
Both the Liberals and the Conservatives are pushing the Digital ID.

While the medium is newer, the censorious constitutional defect is not.
