It's hard not to take it personally when you see women talking about how offensive it is when guys develop feelings for them after being friends for a long time. The defense is always "I just want to be loved for who I am, not just for my body!" Is that all you think of love? If you married him, would he be nothing more to you than free money and a warm body to use for your masturbation? Because that's what it sounds like when you say things like that. Is it so unfathomable to you that your friend might love you for who you are and want to build a life with you, that you reduce the very idea of it to nothing but sex? I'm very disappointed, especially in the Christians who have posted about this. You have let sin and secular relationship standards get the better of you. It's a shame.
