Yesterday, as I walked to Kinloss hashkama, a man shouted "free, free palestine" at me from his car, and I instinctively passed my lulav to my left hand so that as he drove off he could have a clear view in his rear view mirror of the obscene gesture performed with my right hand.

In another example of accidental theology, I explained to year 9 that the prefix in transubstantiation is the same as in transcendent, as well as other words they know like transport, transact, transparent, translucent. Now one of them has described God as "translucent". 🤷

Yesterday I was devastated to learn that my children were looking to appoint a "new dad". Fortunately, I was later informed that I have been chosen for the position and I look forward to starting this new chapter after serving the notice period in my current role (original dad).

I get that the NHS is underfunded and that, but I'm sitting at 0959 waiting for a routine outpatient 0940 appointment, and I just don't understand how this happens. Why are people this late? How so early in the day? Why is this considered "normal"?
