@RightSide_Uk @KathyParr101 I came off my local hospital's list because I could no longer wait for new knees which I had waited 8 years for (yes both!). Thru research I found an elective surgery unit out of my own Trust's area and surgeons gave me new knees (9mths apart) after 8 WEEK wait!!! Amazing.

That’s another scam - being offered private appointments by the same staff, for the same treatment, in the same location, because consultants limit their NHS hours

@RightSide_Uk I had the same thing happen 3 years ago. They cancelled my operation so many times, that it cost me my job of 24 years, as I wasn't fit enough to do it, until I had had the operation. 3 years later, and I'm still struggling to find work. Even agencies don't have anything.

@RightSide_Uk @weldyweldon I was scheduled for two treatments toward the end of Covid. Both disappeared off the system. The first was my knee, I can struggle on with that. The second my heart. I’ve just been for another ECG and the diagnosis is to refer me again, this time I screen shot everything!

What I can’t believe is the ordinary NHS staff, be they your family, friends, neighbours, cancelling appointments, they should feel guilty as if it was their own family being cancelled & rescheduled.

@RightSide_Uk My son is awaiting a mental health assessment appointment, but has been told there is a three year wait before he will be put on the waiting list!!! No wonder waiting lists have come down, no-one is put on it.

@RightSide_Uk They are doing the same to me with my knee surgery. Cancelled it 4 times and re made the appointment 4 times in just under 2 years. They do it so they can manipulate the figures to back their lies.

@RightSide_Uk I've been on the surgical waiting list since 2019. Apparently I was forgotten about during covid, and nobody thought to look through my notes when I've gone to the GP (numerous times) complaining of severe shoulder pain and limited movement, being told 'Its probably menopause'

@RightSide_Uk @JustMe19122792 They used to do this with GP appointments when the Blair government mandated appointments within 48 hours. They rationed the appointments, when the appointments were taken they closed the desk and said ring back tomorrow. Sickeningly they got paid for reaching the 48 hour target.

He was again referred for Nov 25. Never happened. Finally checked Feb 26. Cancer. Op is planned for start of June. Useless NHS.

I have just received an appointment for an mri where a tumour is supposed to be monitored yearly/ 18 monthly. Also developed another fast growing lump still awaiting ultrasound, it's a nightmare

A friend has been waiting for an operation on his spleen. Every time he waits for up to 3 months, his appointment is cancelled and then rearranged. Meaning he never appears on the system to be waiting longer than 3 months, NHS fraud on an Industrial scale.
